Garden Gift Set (Plant in Spring)
Materials:
1 begonia bulb, terra cotta pot 4.25" (11 cms), terra cotta saucer 4" (10 cms), 1 Piece ribbon cut to 34” (86 cms) length, potting soil.

How to:
- Cover the drainage hole on the bottom of the pot with a piece of scotch tape. (Remove tape later when ready to grow.
- Fill the pot with soil till 1" (2.5 cms) below the rim.
- Place the begonia bulb in soil, flat side down, hollow side up.
- Place the lid on the top of pot. Wrap ribbon around pot and tie with a bow on top.
- Blooms in 12-15 weeks.
- Once ready to grow. Place pot in sunny area. Remove scotch tape from bottom of pot and ribbon. Place saucer under pot, moisten the soil around the bulb, and watch it grow. Water regularly throughout growing season (avoid getting water in the hollow part of the bulb or it could start to rot).
Tip:
Try planting a calla lily, tigridias, freesias or ranunculus in this type of gift pot as well.
